  1. Great pictures on your site.

A block away from where I live is a zoo with 3 elephants. When they're out and I'm walking by walking our old cat for exercise, I toss them apples which the greatly love..

  3. Thanks! Will be back there in about 6 months, can't wait. India does something to you. You hate it as much as you love it, but you can't seem to hold yourself away from it. India=life :)
And yes- elephants! :) Must be lovely to have them so close by!

  4. Beautiful photos, Hille! I can relate to your fascination with India. It's incredibly beautiful and ugly at the same time.

  7. Thanks. I'm looking forward to the return, not much to go!
Sounds like India might be written already on your life-path as well. In my case it haunted me in my dreams till I gave in :). I believe in following the small voice of the heart!

  8. I somehow missed all these wonderful photos. Much appreciate your sharing these and your latest travel blog also. I'm impressed with how you can even upload them to the computer whilst away.

  9. Oh, there is so much in these photos. I don't know where to begin to comment. I get the smells and hear the sounds all over again! :)) Thank you for sharing...

I recently returned from Vietnam and feel a strong pull to come back like you feel about India. I love the people in the Hanoi region. I imagine your return trip was wonderful.

  11. Sorry for the longest reply in history, somehow missed this comment. Thanks for visiting. And yes- India does something to ones senses that is unforgettable. :) No matter the hassles I will always return.
The same with all of S-E Asia, especially Cambodia and Philippines, these people have something special indeed (a sparkle in the eye, an ability to enjoy life no matter the circumstance?).
Metta to you and hope you get to visit your special places again.
