Over-coming fear

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do. ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

  5. Thanks for the kind words Carrie, yes I will try to be in touch as much as I can. Am having a fantastic time so far.
I do think that it helped a lot with the phobia, its true that fear is mainly your imagination. Once you familiarize yourself more and more, the fear starts to dissolve. When I looked at and touched the snake I was just under amazement- what bizarre, wonderful creatures. I guess I had a sudden sense of respect. So yes- huge step in the right direction, I would recommend it as a therapy definitely :)
    Much Metta Carrie, take care!

  6. :^)

    You're even smiling yourself!

I just noticed cool bracelet thingy you're wearing... what stone is it made of? I've got something similar I bought once made of carnelians, but obviously being a guy I don't wear it. Why obviously? Well, yeah anyway, lol. It does look cool though.
